2012 Coed Sailing Illinois State Championship
Hosted by Sheridan Shore Sailing School
Date: Saturday May 19th – Sunday May 20th, 2012
Location: Sheridan Shore Yacht Club, Wilmette, IL
Event Chairman: Zachary Hernandez
Class: 420 (SSSS has limited boats for use), close teams will have to bring boats
Rules: The regatta will be governed by the 2009-2012 ISAF RRS, the prescriptions of the US Sailing Association, the ISSA PR’s, this NOR, MISSA PR, and the SI’s
Registration and Entry: Competing schools must be current members of MISSA. Entries must be received by Monday May 14th at 4:30pm. Contact Zac Hernandez at (847) 251-1110 or email at zac@sheridanshoresailing.com on your intention of this regatta by May 1st. Email should include school, name(s) of sailor(s), skipper and crew for A and B division.
Entry fee is $60 per competitor; includes breakfast/ lunch on Saturday/ Sunday, and T-Shirt (if your intention is in by Friday May 4th). Out of state schools may compete in the regatta, but will not be able to compete for the IL State Title. School’s may bring more than one team, but only one of the schools may compete for the IL State Title.

Sheridan Shore Sailing School
For more than 50 years, Sheridan Shore Sailing School has been proud to offer students a chance to experience the thrill, challenge and exhilaration of sailing. Our courses help instill the skills of sailing and seamanship to juniors, high school students and adults of all ability levels. Classes are led by certified U.S. Sailing Association instructors and feature a low student to instructor ratio. We offer a variety of courses designed to match differing interests, abilities and ages. The Sailing School uses the facilities of Sheridan Shore Yacht Club which is located in Wilmette Harbor. The Sailing School is a 501 c (3) not-for-profit organization and is open to the community.
